Mark

I knew a boy named Mark he was the sweetest boy you could had met. He loved everybody and anybody the same way. I remember once when they had to do a project in class and he was the 1 who picked the mentally retarded child before he was left alone. Not once in the 2 years that I knew him had I ever seen him frowning. No matter what mood you were in as soon as he looked at you with that silly smile and look in his eyes like, "why are you sad" all your pain went away. He was a best friend..... It was on a Wednesday in September when I woke up late and my brother did also. We tried to get to school but the ways we'd normally take were blocked off. We didn't know what we should do and found it suspicious so we went home. As I was at home I had the feeling that something bad was happening or was going to happen at school. That's when I went on Facebook to find my best friends status saying R.I.P Mark finally somebody explained to me what happened....I couldn't believe it. Ocala to find out he snuck out at 1am to go skateboarding when he slipped into the road and was hit and killed by a cop car. He never did anything bad so I thought it wasn't him and that it was a different mark. I thought wrong. His memorial was that night and it was too much to take. Man people I knew were there and hearing the stories with Mark made it harder to believe he was gone. All crying and pain for the rest of the week and the weeks after.1 week after he died his funeral was held. A man who was teaching him how to play guitar walked to the microphone with a guitar in his hand. He said that this was the last song Mark learned to play, and he played "My Heaven Song". I had told myself Mark was ok and that he was just in a coma but actually at the funeral was far too real and hard for my heart to take it. Mark will never be forgotten no matter what I love him he will always be my best friend all my praise go out to him and his family. The day I die and see him will be great to me. "I can't wait to join the angels and sing, my heaven song".
